Objective
The advanced research in technology and data communication systems should enable highest quality and reliability in delivering power. The overwhelming environment concern considers the sustainable energy along with smart and intelligent management systems. The novel communication, security, automation and control technologies associated with advanced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques enable the systematic energy management. The research should also consider the issues and challenges that occur in large complex system levels. Accurate energy forecasting is crucial in achieving the better reliability of power systems operations and defining the energy tariff. Availability of big data and analyzing it for forecasting is considered as always a complex. The advanced intelligent computing models combined with the energy forecasting and economic planning have received much attention.
The aim of this special issue is to collate original research articles with a focus on the applications of sustainable energy, energy management, advanced intelligent technologies in economical modeling and energy forecasting.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
● Artificial Intelligence based Renewable Energy System (RES)
● Soft Computing based Grid Integration of RES
● Novel smart energy management system architecture framework and technologies
● Smart homes and buildings
● Energy forecasting models
● Reliability, power quality, power electronic, load management, sensor network, and communication
● Rural Electrification
