Objective
Because of the vast quantity of digital information accessible in several languages, systems must progressively arrange their access to this important resource. As a result, there is increasing interest in enhancing our ability to access and exploit this information in multilingual settings. Natural Language Processing (NLP) and its many branches have proposed and continue to propose formal and technological foundations to address these needs: extraction of information and information extraction, lexicons, question answering, language processing, automatic analysis of textual content, text categorization, stemming, text summarization, text generation, and speech recognition and synthesis.
